Description

This dataset contains the political party and candidate tweets for the campaign period (10th to 24th of June) of the 2016 Spanish general election (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spanish_general_election,_2016). The 2016 Spanish general election was held on Sunday, 26 June 2016, to elect the 12th Cortes Generales of Spain. All 350 seats in the Congress of Deputies were up for election, as well as 208 of 266 seats in the Senate. The dataset contains 35,624 tweets.
