Approval of SIMPATICO H2020 project

On Wednesday, 28th October, DeustoTech-INTERNET was notified the approval of its 3rd H2020 project in the topic “EURO6 – 2015: Meeting new societal needs by using emerging technologies in the public sector”. The project title is “SIMPATICO: SIMplifying the interaction with Public Administration Through Information technology for Citizens and cOmpanies”. It is a 36-month project that will address the need to offer a more efficient and more effective experience to companies and citizens in their daily interaction with Public Administration (PA) by providing a personalized delivery of e- services based on advanced cognitive system technologies and by promoting an active engagement of people for the continuous improvement of the interaction with these services. It will combine the research fields of Human Computation, Service Personalization and Adaptation and Interactive Augmented Contents.

In this project, UDEUSTO will contribute with the creation of the Citizenpedia component which will create a user-created knowledge base about public data services, processes and regulations. UDEUSTO will lead WP4. Human computation. In this project proposal, Dr. Diego López-de-Ipiña and Dr. Pablo Orduña intervened. The total granted money to UDEUSTO is 516.719€.
