On Wednesday December 7th the Cloud Computing Workshop was held in the University of Deusto. Steven Woodward, CEO of Woodward Systems, gave a brief overview of the view of the National Institute of Standards and Technology and the International Telecommunication Union about cloud computing. Igor Ruiz-Agundez, researcher at the Computing Unit of DeustoTech, gave a presentation of a flexible accounting model that allows the deployment of cloud computing services to accomplish all the service providers’ requirements. MORElab members Alex Rayón and Pablo Orduña also participated, explaining the model of economy of services developed in the Smart Work project and the present and future of the mCloud project, respectively.
