On 18 October 2013, Dr. Diego López-de-Ipiña was invited to talk within the appsforengergy.be event. Such event debated the importance of Open Data and their analytics to undertake better energy management. The talk given by Dr. Diego López-de-Ipiña tackled the role that proactive sustainable and persuasive Linked Data generating electrical appliance may play to influence their users on a better eco-behaviour when interacting with them. This presentation was grounded in the work on the Green Social Coffee Maker carried out by the MORElab researchers Diego Casado Mansilla and Juan López-de-Armentia.
