The student of 5th year of Computer Science at the University of Deusto, Álvaro Pérez Soria, affiliated to MoreLab, won on 26 March the third edition of the Java programming contest Powered by U!.

As a result of his victory with the EnterpriseController project, he represented Spain in the European final celebrated on 19 April in the Sun Development Centre of Prague. He also won 3000 ? and a Ricoh Aficio MP C2500 printer for SmartLab. This work was supervised by MoreLab project director Dr. Diego López-de-Ipiña.
