The paper presented by Ane Irizar-Arrieta was selected for the Best Early Career Research Award.

Ane Irizar-Arrieta participated in the 11th International Conference on Interfaces and Human Computer Interaction (IHCI 2017), part of the 11th Multi Conference on Computer Science and Information Systems (MCCSIS 2017) held in Lisbon (Portugal) from 20th to 23th of July.

IHCI 2017 conference aims to address the main issues of concern within Interface Culture and Design with a particular emphasis on the affective aspects of design, development and implementation of interfaces and the generational implications for design of human and technology interaction.

She presented an article entitled “Coping with user diversity: UX informs the design of a digital interface that encourages sustainable behaviour” authored by herself and Diego Casado-Mansilla. The paper was selected for the Best Early Career Research Award.
