Golnaz Nikmehr

Golnaz holds a degree in IT Engineering from Hamedan University of Technology (2013) and she pursued a Master’s degree in IT engineering focusing on networked systems from the University of Tehran with a multidisciplinary attitude, which was completed in August 2016. She published a paper titled “TSS: Temporal Similarity Search measure for heterogeneous information networks” in 2019. Her research interests include Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Social Networks, and Deep Learning. She has about six years of experience in the area of Data Science. During these years she works on different projects, she started with IoT projects, including activity recognition for healthcare, and indoor positioning. Her main focus was on machine learning models and signal processing. After that, she switched to another project about fraud detection algorithms for an ad network to detect fake clicks and also implemented some deep learning algorithms for the game development team to put into practice. Since 2020 she worked on a search engine project and did R&D on cutting-edge deep learning and learning to rank methodologies, and also Natural Language Processing tasks. Her main language programming is Python.
