The objective of the ASIO Project is to acquire an R&D service consisting of the development of innovative solutions for the University of Murcia in relation to the challenge of Semantic Architecture and Ontological Infrastructure. Specifically, the aim is to develop and incorporate solutions that exceed those currently available on the market.
The solution proposed in ASIO must be capable of being used in the future on a regular basis both by the University of Murcia and by the other Universities that form part of the CRUE with similar needs and competences, since as a pre-commercial public procurement process, the objective is to be able to achieve an innovative solution directed specifically at the challenges and needs that affect the public sector and that seek to dynamize R&D&I.
The project Ontological Infrastructure of the Information of the Spanish University System consists of creating a network of ontologies that can be used to describe with fidelity and high granularity the data of the Research Management domain. The project will be implemented according to the guidelines defined in the section Technical Scope of Ontological Infrastructure.
The SUE Semantic Data Architecture project consists of developing an efficient platform to store, manage and publish the SGI data, based on the Ontological Infrastructure, with the ability to synchronize instances installed in different Universities. The project will be implemented according to the guidelines defined in the Technical Scope section of Semantic Data Architecture.
Given that the other projects that make up HÉRCULES depend on both the Ontological Infrastructure and the Semantic Data Architecture, it is within the scope of both to interact with the developers of the other projects: development of an Innovative Prototype of Research Management for Universities and Data Enrichment and Analysis Methods.
