Aritz Bilbao Jayo

Dr. Aritz Bilbao is a Research Associate at the MORElab Research Group of DeustoTech - Deusto Institute of Technology.
He obtained in 2014 the Bachelor´s degree in Computer Science at the University of Deusto. In 2016, Aritz obtained the Master´s degree in Computer Science at the University of Deusto while he was working on European Research Projects such as SONOPA(AAL) or MoveSmart (FP7). In 2020 he got his PhD Degree after defending his thesis entitled "From Political Manifestos to Social Networks: the automation of Political Discourse Analysis using Contextual Information".
His research centers around the application of Deep Learning and Natural Language Processing techniques on the political discourse analysis on social networks and the activity recognition field.
