Oihane Gómez Carmona participated in the “The 48th IEEE International Conference on Computers, Software, and Applications” (COMPSAC 2024) held in Osaka (Japan) from July 2nd to 4th, 2024. The main focus of the flagship IEEE conference this year was “Digital Development for a Better Future.”

COMPSAC 2024 brought together global researchers, developers, practitioners, and policymakers to explore the latest advances in computing technologies and their potential integration across society. Attendees discussed challenges and opportunities in various fields, including computer architectures, learning technologies, data sciences, human and social computing, IoT, smart health, and security in computing, aligning with the conference’s dedication to fostering digital development that benefits society.

She presented the paper "Employee Perceptions of Privacy and Data Control in Workplace Wellness e- Health Programs " authored by herself, Diego Casado-Mansilla, Diego López-de-Ipiña and Javier García-Zubia.
